All scrambling grades require a degree of rock climbing as both hands and feet are employed, but a classic grade 1 scramble is essentially an exposed walking route. Most tend to be relatively straightforward with many difficulties avoidable, and some of the most popular days out in the British mountains are ‘easy’ Grade 1 scrambles.
Alternative route is available.
Steep, rocky and complex terrain. There are well-worn paths for much of the route.
Please come and join us as we get together in nature, in support of this amazing organisation and the amazing work they do.
(Note – A small fee of £2.50 has been added to cover the transaction and admin fee of third party providers)
